Sawyer Is Here

Sawyer William Morse is here. He arrived April 27, 2009. He weighed 9 lbs. 12 oz. and he was 21 inches long. We are so happy that he is here. Alexis is having a blast being a big sister. She loves to give him kisses and hugs. Alexis also loves to act like a mommy. Sawyer is such a good baby. He loves to be held and really likes to eat. We are all doing well and are so excited for this summer. We are goingt to have so much fun playing outside and watching Alexis and Sawyer grow.

Easter Time

We had a really great weekend. Alexis got to go to the big Easter egg hunt at West Jordan Park. She had a great time running around picking up all the eggs and candy. Their were so many people there that the candy was picked really fast. Alexis did a great job and got some candy.

We also dyed eggs and had lots of parties with family. Alexis was not afraid of the Easter bunny this year. She was very excited to see the bunny at the park. Last year she cried when she saw the easter bunny at the mall.

We are all ready for the baby boy to arrive. He is going to be a very big boy. I am now 37 weeks but measuring at 40 weeks. I sure hope that he decides to come soon. They say that he already weighs about 8 lbs. or more. I am going in for stress tests and AFI to see how the baby is doing. We are excited to see him and want him here soon. Alexis is getting very excited to hold baby brother and take care of him.

I only have 9 more weeks and the baby should be here. He has been moving around a ton. He loves to kick me. This baby is a big mover, Alexis moved a little and she would move slow. This little boy is like doing karate inside of me. It feels really cool, but sometimes it is not so cool. We are getting very excited for the little guy to arrive. The weeks cannot go by fast enough.
We are working on Alexis' room right now. We are painting the walls. The colors that we picked are yellow and pink. We have the yellow up and we are hoping to have the pink up tonight or by the end of the week. Alexis is getting really excited about her room. She loves to watch her daddy paint and she always tells him that he is doing a good job. What a nice daddy.

Good day

I have been pretty busy today. I watch one of our friends little girls on Mondays. Alexis loves when her friend comes over. The love to play in the kitchen. It is so good for Alexis to have someone to interact with all day. Alexis loves to try to help me with everything and repeats everything I say. Sometimes I think that she is the mommy. I wonder what she will be like when her baby brother gets here. I can only imagine.
I am loving all this warm weather. It is making me anxious for Spring. I can't wait to start working in my yard. It is so nice to finally take Alexis to the park again. We have been stuck in the house for to long. Alexis loves to run around the back yard and try to do jump rope. It is so cute to watch her jump around. She does not know how but she is trying.
Hope that everyone is enjoying the nice weather that we are having. It probably won't last long.

Hello-

I have been staying pretty busy with Alexis. She loves to go a million miles per hour. She seems to never get tired. I have been getting ready for the baby. I can't believe there is only about 10 weeks until he will be here. I am now getting my hospital bags ready so that I won't need to worry about packing last minute. I also need to start getting out all the baby toys and the car seat. Bryan is going to start Lexi's new room this month, so that we can start on the babies room. We really need to get moving on that. I can't wait to get the rooms all done. Alexis is very excited to have a new room.

Circus

Alexis went to the circus with her friend Yasen yesterday. They had a great time. Alexis and Yasen rode the ponies and looked at the elephants. Alexis loved to watch the acrobats and the dancers. She was fascinated with the whole show. She also got to taste cotton candy for the first time. At first she wanted to spit it out because it felt wierd, but I told her to keep it in her mouth and it would melt. She thought it was pretty good stuff after she gave it a try. What a great time that we had. Maybe we can go again next year.

Long Time

Hey Everyone-

Sorry, it has been so long since I have posted a blog. I guess I kind of forgot about it. There has been a lot going on in my life. Bryan and I are expecting a baby boy in May. We are very excited to be having another baby. I can't wait to get started on the babies room. But before I can do that we need to make a new princess room for Alexis. I sure hope that switching rooms will work for her.
I have also graduated from the U of U finally. It feels so good to be done with school and pay attention to family. The funny thing is that I am supposed to be walking on May 8 and the baby is due beginning of May. I am hoping that the baby comes a week or two early so that I can walk at my graduation.
I hope that everyone is doing well.
