All I Want For Christmas

Took Alexis and Sawyer to see Santa. Alexis was so happy to see him and told him that she wanted Strawberry Shortcake House and a gate. Sawyer kept pulling his beard and staring at him. I was so happy that they both did well.

Build-A-Bear

Alexis had a great time at Build-A-Bear. I was surprised that she picked the brown pony. I thought that she would have picked the pink bear or pink pony. She changes every day and I never know what she is going to like. They grow up way to fast. It was a fun day with friends.

Halloween Night

We had a great time Trick-or-Treating with friends. Halloween was so much fun this year. Alexis ran from house to house. It is so fun to watch her have the time of her life.

Fun Weekend

We had a very fun and busy weekend. Alexis and I went to Gardner Village with the girls for Witches Night Out. We took a walk up Yellow Fork Canyon in Herriman. Last night for FHE we painted our pumpkins that we grew in our yard. I love Fall and I will be sad when the snow comes.

Fall

Last Monday night we took a drive on the Alpine Loop for FHE. It was so beautiful and busy. I think everyone had the same idea we did. We got some great pictures of the kids and family. It is amazing how beautiful the leaves can look. I will never forget the colors that I saw that evening. I can't post all the pictures because they are going to be used for Christmas cards and I need to keep them as a surprise.

Splash

A fun day of swimming at the Kearns Rec Center. Alexis loved to float around in her Dora float thing. She thought that was the best thing ever. She did not want to get out of the water. Bryan was brave and jumped off the high dive. It looked so cool. The Kearns Rec Center was very cool. They had tons of stuff for kids to play with. Alexis can't wait to go swimming again. She cried the whole way out to the car when we left.

Bingham Canyon Mine

We went to the Kennecott Utah Copper's Bingham Canyon Mine for FHE. Alexis loved to watch the big trucks carry the dirt. I had never been up there before. It was amazing how big the mine was. Even when you are standing right in front of it, you still can't believe how big it is. Thank you Bryan for planning a great FHE, you are a great dad. We stopped off at Arctic Circle to get ice cream and Alexis was very proud of her mini ice cream cone. How cute is that?

Alexis First Day of School

Alexis started school on Tuesday the 23. She had a great time. She learned about space and the planets. She loves to play outside. When I picked her up from school she said that a boy chased her at school. I can't believe the chasing had already started. She is learning so many things and I am so proud of her. She is not afraid and runs right into school when I drop her off. This week they are learning about America and will be having a parade. She is going to have a blast.

Father's Day

What a nice Father's Day. We got together with family and had a very nice dinner. Sawyer was passed around all night. He loves to be held and mommy also liked the break. We had a great time visiting with family and Alexis had fun playing with new toys.

Busy Weekend

Bryan's cousin Kim got married over the weekend. We had a lot of fun on Saturday. It was nice to spend time with family and friends. We spent the morning at the Bountiful Temple and then we went to eat at the Red Iguana. It was the best Mexican food I had ever had. We can't wait to eat there again. We had fun dancing at the reception and watching Sawyer make funny faces. What a cute boy. Alexis wanted to dance with everyone. She is a dancing girl.

Our Pond

For those that don't know, Bryan and I have a pond in our backyard. We have many different types of plants and fish that live in the pond. This is a picture of a water hyacinth. They float on the water and get beautiful little purple blooms. Bryan and I love to spend time in our yard and love to add new things to our pond. This year we got new fish. We bought some Golden Orfes and Shubunkin Goldfish. We love to watch the fish grow. They are so beautiful to watch.

Congrats Michelle

Last week Alexis and I went to my cousin Michelle's high school graduation. She graduated from Skyline High. That is the same school that I graduated from, and that my mother and uncles graduated from. It is kind of a family tradition now. I hope that Alexis and Sawyer can graduatefrom Skyline someday. It is the coolest school ever.

Burrito Baby

Sawyer is 5 weeeks now. On June 1 he started to make cute little noises when you talk to him. He loves to look around the house and to look at your face. He is so adorable. I have found that he loves to be wrapped like a burrito. He will sleep for a long time all wrapped up. We have been getting more sleep at night because of it. I am so happy for that.

Alexis will be starting school on June 23. She is so excited to be going to school. She will be going to Challenger school. We went and took a tour of the school today and she had a blast. She cried when we had to leave. I am so excited for her to start school. She is so ready to be social and learn new things.

Memorial Weekend

Sawyer is now a month old. I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. He is such a handsome boy. I am so lucky to be able to have a son and a daughter. I love being a mom and watching my children grow. I can't wait to see Sawyer smile for the first time and to see him take his first steps. Being a mother is the best thing in the whole world.

We went to Sugar House park on Memorial Day. It was such a beautiful day to spend at the park. Alexis fed the ducks and geese and played on the toys. Her favorite thing to do at the park is to go on the swing. She could stay on the swing forever if you let her. It is so hard to get her off. It was so fun to watch her and her daddy have so much fun at the park. It was nice to have a family day together.

We had dinner night with our friends. Alexis and Haylee like playing together. I had to get a picture of all the kids together. It is going to be so fun to watch them all grow. What a cute little chubby face Sawyer has. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps. Alexis loves to go over to Mychal and Travis' House. She had a lot of fun that night finding all the toys that were in the house.

She loves to find new things to play with. What a curious little girl.

Bryan is so good with Sawyer. I don't know what I would do without Bryan. He is such a big help. I love to watch him with the kids. He is always there to hold Sawyer or play with Alexis when I need a break. I love you Bryan. You are the best husband ever.
