Swimming Lessons

Alexis passed her Tots 2 swimming class and is starting Advanced Tots. I am so proud of her. She has really come along way this summer. Here are some pics of her having fun in the pool.

Camping Trip

We went camping this weekend with some freinds and had a great time. We went camping up by Wolf Creek. Alexis had so much fun exploring each day. She picked lots of flowers and played games with a new friend that she made. We went fishing, hiking and did some exploring together. It was a lot of work but so worth it. The kids love to be outside and so do I.

Beautiful Kids

My good friend Marisa took some great photos of Sawyer. The photo session was for Sawyer but when Alexis saw Sawyer getting lots of pictures taken she also wanted a picture taken. We got a great picture of Alexis with her beautiful smile. I love the way that she takes the pictures. You feel like you can capture the way your children is at that moment forever and that it is the real them. Sawyer is so handsome in all the pictures. It is hard to pick a favorite. I wish that I could show you all of them but there is not enough room. I love all the pictures that Marisa took and I can't wait until I can have her take pictures of my whole family at once. Love Fireworks

Had a great time with family and friends at Sugarhouse Park. We ate yummy food and talked while we waited for the fireworks to start. Alexis and Sawyer had so much fun. Sawyer did not make a peep the whole time. He loves to be outside and loves to be at parks. Hope that everyone had a great 4th of July. This year it felt like the 4th of July lasted all weekend. I love the 4th of July and now I can't wait for the 24th of July so I can watch some more fireworks with the family.

Spring Garden

Bryan and I love to work out in our garden. It brings us so much joy to watch our flowers and vegetables grow. Alexis is also becoming an avid gardener. She loves to plant seeds with her daddy, water flowers with mommy and also help pull weeds and maybe some good plants on occasion. I am so happy to see her enjoy the garden. I hope that she keeps that feeling with her her whole life. Here are some pictures of the beautiful flowers that are blooming in our yard right now. Enjoy, I know I do!

First Birthday

Sawyer could not wait any longer to open his gifts. Those bright shiny bags were to appealing. He had a wonderful 1st birthday. Family and friends were there to celebrate and he got many fun presents. I also made him his first birthday cake. This was my first attempt at making a cake that was shaped like an animal. I decided that his birthday would be giraffe themed. I did a pretty good job if I say so myself. I had a lot of fun making it and everyone sure did love eating it.

Sawyer was not sure what to do at first. But after he got that first bite he was really into it. Can't beleive that he has been in our family for a year now. What a great addition he was. I am so lucky to have two beautiful and loving children. Thanks to everyone that made Sawyer's birthday a great success.

Busy Month of March

We have done a lot of fun things this month. First of all, Sawyer is all over the place. He loves to play downstairs in the play kitchen. He can pull himself up almost on everything. When you ask him to smile he will give you the cutest little smile ever. It makes me laugh every time. Alexis and I went to Disney on Ice with Aunt Cuc and Michelle. Alexis had the time of her life. She did not take her eyes off the ice while the characters were dancing and skating. I can't wait until I can take her again. We all had a great time. Alexis went to the dentist and got her teeth cleaned. She loves the dentist and she always does everything they tell her to do. What a brave girl. We have had a great month of March and can't wait for April. Sawyer will be turning 1 (wow, I can't believe that is already happening). We will also be taking a trip to Moab with Grandma Loretta and friends. Can't wait to make some more great memories.
